1. Purpose and scope
This Refund Policy explains when Khumalo Maths Academy will provide a refund, replacement, account credit or other remedy for digital products and paid educational services. It must be read with our Cancellation Policy, Terms of Service and Digital Product Delivery Policy.
2. Digital products
Because downloadable resources can be accessed and retained immediately, we do not ordinarily offer discretionary change-of-mind refunds once a download link has been supplied or the product has been accessed or downloaded.
We will investigate and, where appropriate, provide a replacement, correction, account credit or refund if:
- you were charged more than once for the same order;
- the file delivered is materially different from the product described at checkout;
- the file is incomplete, corrupted or technically unusable and we cannot supply a working replacement within a reasonable time;
- the product was not delivered and our delivery support process does not resolve the problem; or
- a refund or other remedy is required by applicable South African law.
Please report a duplicate charge, defect or delivery problem within 7 days of purchase where reasonably possible. This reporting period helps us investigate quickly and does not reduce any non-excludable statutory right.
3. Lessons and tutoring services
Refunds and credits for booked lessons are governed by the Cancellation Policy. If we cancel a lesson and cannot provide an acceptable replacement time, the amount paid for that lesson will be refunded or credited at your choice.
4. How to request a remedy
Email khumalo.nathi83@gmail.com with your name, order reference, purchase date, product or lesson name, the reason for the request, and any useful screenshot. We may request reasonable information to verify the transaction and diagnose a technical problem.
5. Processing
Approved refunds will be submitted to the original payment method where practicable. Payment-provider and bank processing times may apply. We will confirm the outcome and any next steps by email or WhatsApp.
6. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or waives any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, or other applicable law.
